System Integration
Sometimes systems need to be integrated that are "impossible to
integrate". We don't take this approach and enjoy the fresh challenges
that system integration brings.
When working with 3rd party systems data needs to be shared between them in order to complete a specific workflow. It's very common for some system to only accept data in a very specific format. For example:
- XML/RSS with very specifically formatted fields
- .dbf files for integration with Foxpro
- .mdb files for integration with MS Access Databases
- .sql files for SQL transactions
- .xls production for MS Excel spreadsheets
Intermediate Integration
In the cases where we can't natively merge 2 data systems, we can use an intermediate format that both systems can read/write to in order to safely exchange data such as:
- .txt simple text exchange
- .csv Comma Separated Values
